What are your responsibilities at SAPL?

 My role is a Corporate Services Officer (office coordinator) at Perth Office. I have been working at Perth Office since Dec 07.

I enjoy my role with multi tasks as I have opportunities to communicate with various people both internally and externally.

I order stationery and biscuits, receive visitors at office, have a meeting with a building manager, monthly office safety inspection, issue an invoice to a customer and chase a payment and other variety things...

Please tell us about your current office?

 Perth office was relocated to new office in November 2010.

It is a brand new building and our office is top floor (Lvl 20) with fantastic view.

Currently, we are 12 staffs – 10 people engaged in Steel Products department, 1 person from Mineral Resources & Energy department and 1 person from Summit Auto Lease (subsidiary company).

Occasionally, we go for lunch all together. Our latest lunch was for Tad Maikawa san’s welcome lunch on Fri 15^th July 11. As Shintaku san (previous GM of Steel Products division) was also here in Perth,

all of Perth office staffs and Shintaku san went to one of nice Chinese restaurant in Northbridge  for Yum Cha. J  We ate a lot!

How do you spend your days off?

 If the weather is nice (It is almost always sunny and nice weather in Perth except Winter time which is …NOW!), I and my husband drive to a beach for coffee or sometimes pack a lunch box and enjoy a picnic lunch at park next to beach. We have a big leisure mat which we used for a BBQ party last Summer and 15 of us could sit on that mat. Well, we do not use that big mat when we are two of us, of course…
