Kawerau plant project in New Zealand

Sumitomo Corporation, prime contractor for Mighty River Power Ltd's New Zealand 90 MW geothermal power installation at Kawerau completed the project ahead of schedule, and significantly exceeded production output expectations.
Actually generating power since late August the Official Opening Ceremony will take place on Saturday, 22 November.
Focus now,by Sumitomo is on completion of Mighty River Power Ltd's 130MW "Nga Awa Purua " geothermal installation that commenced in May 2008.
