Fertilizer

Sumitomo has been importing and marketing fertilizer in Australia since 1989. This business was restructured in 2005 to consolidate all operations within the wholly owned group subsidiary Summit Rural WA Pty Ltd, trading as Summit Fertilizers. Summit’s head office is in Kwinana. The company has five depots located in the main agricultural areas in the south west region of Western Australia. 

Summit sources raw material globally. The company markets both liquid and dry fertilizers, customised blends and provides on-farm services such as soil analysis through trained agents and agronomists. It has a history of product innovation and is now the second largest fertilizer marketer in the Western Australia.
